They say,” We want you to stay longer. Our best prices are for more than one night. We have two spacious rooms with ensuite bathrooms, suitable for 1, 2 or 3 people. There are DVD players, Wifi and continental breakfast can be served in your room or a cooked breakfast (no meat) is available in the conservatory.
There is so much to explore in our lovely Cheshire landscape. Discover hillforts, caves, canals, rivers, forests, castles and gardens. There are fine restaurants, local markets, trendy cafes, posh shops and pub grub. Try Bourne's Cheshire cheese, Snugbury's icecream, Weetwood Ales and our own Family Jams (see http://www.familyjam.co.uk/ ).
Staying on the farm you can look forward to tasting the full range of homemade jam, jellies, marmalades, chutneys, mustards and cordials which we make from fruit grown on the farm. We have a small shop and can introduce you to the process of ‘Grow it, pick it, cook it’. Pam Toler can show you our vegetable garden, the new orchard and the semi-natural oak woodland.
Dogs are welcome and we provide separate facilities at a small charge. We have DIY stabling for those who enjoy riding and there are superb rides nearby in the beautiful Delamere Forest. Delamere Forest also has the exciting 'Go Ape' Trail.
A day out in Liverpool is stress free from Helsby station or go to Manchester from the scenic Mouldsworth station and relax without worrying about parking.
The 300 year old market in Frodsham is held every Thursday.
The famous retail outlet at Cheshire Oaks is only five miles away with the Vue cinema, Ten-pin Bowling and many designer shops. The new Bookstore at Sandiway is worth a visit. Car racing at Oulton Park, horse racing at Chester, Tatton Park Flower Show and international showjumping at Bolesworth Castle and Kelsall Hill."
